Nigerian national held for deceiving people

Members of National Security Intelligence yesterday claimed to have arrested a Nigerian national who used to cheat people by identifying himself as representative of a beverage company in Bangladesh.

The arrestee was identified as Chukwuemeka Samuel. NSI arrested him from the capital's Khilkhet.

Samuel used to identify himself as Richard Philip and collected a hefty sum of money by duping people through calling them on their phones and asking them to claim online rewards. A case was filed in this regard.
