Phensidyl seized from bus in Dhaka, 4 held

Four persons including two drug dealers were arrested with a huge amount of phensidyl in Dhaka’s Mohammadpur, Rapid Action battalion (Rab) says.

Four persons including two drug dealers were arrested with a huge amount of phensidyl in Dhaka’s Mohammadpur this morning, Rapid Action battalion (Rab) said.

The phensidyl bottles were seized from an AC bus at Mohammadpur bus terminal during a drive conducted by Rab-2 members, said Muhammed Mohiuddin Faruqe, company commander of the Rab-2.

Acting on a tip-off, the elite force searched the AC bus, found phensidyl bottles inside a box set up at the vehicle and arrested four persons, Rab-2 CO Faruqe said.

The arrestees are: Mohan, 25, Bablu, 28, Asadul, 30, hailed from Jashore district, and Rubel, 27 of Jhenidah district.
