Police find ‘weapon factory’ in Chattogram city

A weapon-making factory was discovered in Bongshal Para area of Chattogram city early today, police said.

Police conducted a drive in the area around 2am and found the factory in a room on the rooftop of the house of Gafur Khan Saodagar, reports our staff correspondent quoting Md Mohsin, officer-in-charge of Double Mooring Police Station.

They also recovered a large amount of raw materials used to make weapons. The police also recovered two firearms from there, the OC added.
