Polls to ward-31 of Chattogram City Corporation cancelled

The election of councillor post in ward-31 (Alkaran) of Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) has been cancelled today.

Mohammad Hasanuzzaman, returning officer of the CCC elections, issued a notification in this regard today, our Chattogram staff correspondent reports.

The notice was issued following the death of a councilor candidate, Tarek Solaiman Selim, on January 18.

The election to the CCC is scheduled to be held on January 27.
