Truck plunge kills 3 in Dhaka

Three day labourers were killed as a truck fell into a roadside ditch in Nawabganj area of Dhaka early today.

The accident took place in Sonargaon area around 2:30am, said Kaisar Ahmed, a sub-inspector of Nawabganj Police Station, told The Daily Star.

All the dead, whose identities could not be known immediately, were travelling on the truck.

The trucker and helper went into hiding soon after the accident.
