It is now a common notion among city dwellers that these uncomfortable and inconvenient red and green coloured busses are plying the city roads violating all traffic rules and remaining above the law.
But, some courageous Farmgate traffic policemen were seen taking the bold move to clamp down a BRTC bus on the Farmgate-Indira Road this morning near Tejgaon College as its driver failed to show valid documents to the traffic sergeant.

A helper of the bus said the bus was stopped by a sergeant today as the driver on duty yesterday failed to provide "valid documents".

Also, another articulated BRTC bus was clamped down at the bus bay of Farmgate recently.
The Daily Star lauds the traffic policemen's efforts and encourages them to continue the good work to make a better Dhaka city for the wellbeing for all.
