The nine crew members managed to swim ashore after the hull developed cracks in strong tides and capsized.
M Waliullah, harbour master of the Mongla Port Authority, which do not have any rescue ship, told The Daily Star that operation in the channel is going on smoothly and they already had asked the owner to remove the vessel within three days.
