Lightning kills electrician

An electrician was killed by a lightning at Deula Madhyapara village in Baghmara upazila of the district on Tuesday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Birendranath Sarker, 48. Witnesses said Birendranath was hit by a lightning strike while he was working in a house. He was an employee of local Palli Bidyut office.
