Forest officials rescued 18 hilly mynas from Tongi, at the outskirts of Dhaka, this afternoon.

Ashim Mollick, inspector of Wildlife Crime Control Unit of the forest department, told The Daily Star that the birds were being kept at the local forest office after being rescued.

No one was arrested in the incident, he added.
