Police, in a drive, arrested two human traffickers in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar.

Police, in a drive, arrested two human traffickers in Teknaf upazila of Cox's Bazar early today.

Arrestees Dil Mohammed, 35, and M Yunus, 35, sons of late Sultan Ahmed, were residents of Shah Parir Dwip village.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a drive at Shah Parir Dwip village and arrested the duo from their house around 2:30am, said Ataur Rahman Khandaker, officer-in-charge of Teknaf Police Station.

Dil Mohammed is a leader of an international human trafficking gang, the OC added.
