2 siblings electrocuted

Two siblings died from electrocution in Sadar upazila yesterday.

The deceased, Partha Pal, 10, and Protyo Pal, 5, were sons of Porimal Pal of Palpara village.

Quoting the victims' family members, police said Partha, a Class V student at Baroghoria Government Primary School, came in contact with live electricity while trying to switch on a fan at their house. His younger brother Protyo also got electrocuted when he tried to save him.
