2 workers found dead at Ctg port

Two workers were found dead inside a ship at a jetty in Chittagong port this morning.

The deceased are: Md Khorshed, 50, of Laxmipur and Atik, 52, of Noakhali.

Coworkers of Khorshed and Atik found the duo lying under stairs to a deck of MV Latika Naree around 7:00am, our Chittagong staff correspondent reports quoting Rabiul Islam, a sub-inspector of Bandar Police Station.

They were whisked off to the port hospital where doctors declared them dead, SI Rabiul said.

The bodies were kept at the hospital.
