Three teenagers suffered injuries during a clash among juveniles at Jashore Child Development Center this afternoon.

The injured -- between 15 and 17 years old--were receiving treatment at Jashore General Hospital, said Dr Tareque Shams, a medical officer under emergency unit of the hospital.

"We found injury marks on heads and different parts of their body," the doctor told our Benapole correspondent.

The incident took place at the dining room of the child development center in the afternoon when two groups of youths locked in a clash following an altercation, sources at the juvenile's correction centre said.

During the clash, the three juveniles, hailing from Bogura, Faridpur and Pirojpur, sustained critical injuries, they said.

However, this correspondent could not reach Zakir Hossain, superintendent of the child development center, over phone despite repeated calls.
