3 killed in Rangamati building collapse

At least three people were killed and another was injured as an under-construction building collapsed at College Gate area in Rangamati this afternoon.

The deceased are: Md Shamsul Alam, 45, the house owner, and two construction workers-- Kalu Mia, 34, and Md Hanif, 32, reports our local correspondent.

Another worker, Md Faroque, 40, was undergoing treatment at Rangamati General Hospital, said the hospital’s doctor Akei Mong Chowdhruy.
