At least three people have been killed and seven others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a three-wheeler in Rangpur city.
At least three people were killed and seven others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a three-wheeler in Rangpur city this evening.
All three passengers of the three-wheeler died on the spot, said Md Abdul Qader Jilani, officer-in-charge of Rangpur Kotwali Police Station, quoting witnesses.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. The accident took place around 6:00pm on Rangpur-Dinajpur highway in Hajirhat area when a Saidpur-bound passenger bus from Rangpur hit the three-wheeler from opposite direction, added the OC.
Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately, reports our district correspondent.
The seven injured were taken to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
