A mild earthquake jolts the northern districts of Bangladesh including Rajshahi.

A mild earthquake jolted the northern districts of Bangladesh including Rajshahi this evening.

Initially 4.2 magnitude tremor was measured on the Richter scale that was felt around 8:15pm, Md Hanif Sheikh, an official of Met office told The Daily Star.

The epicenter of the earthquake was in Natore district of Rajshahi, he added.

No casualty has been reported yet.
