6 killed in Mymensingh road crash

At least six people including five of a family were killed and two other wounded as a truck rammed a CNG–run three wheeler in Tarakanda upazila of Mymensingh this evening.

The deceased included three women, two men and a 10-year old girl, our local correspondent reports quoting Mymensingh police Superintendent Mainul Haque.

A Mymensingh bound sand-laden truck rammed the oncoming three-wheeler in Doyarampur area on Mymensingh-Netrokona road around 6:00pm. Identities could not be ascertained immediately.

The victims were heading towards Durgapur upazila of Netrokona by boarding the CNG-run three-wheeler after treating their girl at a hospital in Mymensingh town, the police official said.

The two people who injured in the accident were taken at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital. Their condition is stated to be critical.
