AL’s joint meet this evening

Awami League will hold a joint meeting with all its associate bodies and Dhaka city unit this evening to discuss the upcoming August 15 programme.

The meeting will be held at the party's Dhanmondi political office at 6pm, Mrinal Kanti Das, AL's deputy office secretary, told The Daily Star today.

The meeting will discuss observing the national mourning day at August 15 and as well as the party's organizational matters.

Awami League General Secretary Syed Ashraful Islam will chair the meeting.
