Bangladeshi murdered in South Africa

A Bangladeshi expatriate from Noakhali was allegedly murdered in South Africa last Friday, family has claimed.

The deceased was identified as Md Azizur Rahman Rumel, 30, son of Md Shamsul Hoque from Sadar upazila, reports our Noakhali correspondent.

On July 24, miscreants entered a hotel and chopped him indiscriminately killing him on the spot, said Sumon, younger brother of the victim.

The body of Rumel was buried in the family graveyeard around 9:00am this morning, the brother of the victim adds.
