State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak today described the proposed national budget as investment friendly hoping that it will accelerate the country’s digital progress.

In a post-budget press conference at Software Technology Park in Karwan Bazar of Dhaka, the state minister said the budget will help to turn Bangladesh into a digital accessories-exporting country instead of an importing nation.

The finance minister in his budget speech has proposed to cut customs duty on around 94 types of raw materials and accessories required to manufacture and assemble computer, laptop, tablets computer and handsets, Palak highlighted the proposed budget.
