Bangladesh has expressed deep concern at the recent launching of a ballistic missile by North Korea.
By launching the missile, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) has violated its obligations under the relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council, according to a press release issued by the Foreign Ministry today.
As a signatory to the NPT and CTBT, Bangladesh is committed to working with the International Community for renunciation of the use of force in international relations and for general and complete disarmament.
Bangladesh urged the DPRK to refrain from any action that could impact adversely the peace and stability in the region and beyond.
