Ecnec okays 11 projects worth Tk 8,052cr

The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (Ecnec) today approved 11 projects of Tk 8,052 crore.

It includes a project worth Tk 59 crore for increasing security measures at all the international airports of the country.

Planning Minister MA Mannan briefed reporters about the details after the meeting held with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

To increase the security measures at the airports the prime minister also suggested to create dog squads, the minister said.
