The alleged culprit also snatched some gold ornament and cash from the victim's house.

After taking treatment at Chougachha Upazila Health Complex, the injured victim, wife of a Malaysia expatriate and mother of two children, lodged a written complaint with Chaugachha Police Station accusing Ali Ahmed, a member of Narayanpur union parishad, yesterday.
According to the complaint, Ali along with his two to three accomplices entered the victim's house around 10:30pm and stabbed her with a knife as she has been rejecting his illicit proposal for long.
