Food official caught red-handed with bribe in Naogaon

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) today caught a food controller red-handed with bribe money worth Tk 50,000 in Naogaon Sadar upazila.

Rajshahi division ACC Assistant Director Rizia Khatun made the arrest, reports the Bangla daily Prothom Alo.

"We were informed beforehand. Food controller Mohammad Ali was arrested with the bribe money worth Tk 50,000 from the spot," the ACC official added.

A bribery case was filed with Naogaon Sadar Police Station against the food official.
