Lightning kills 2

Two people were killed in lightning strikes in Shibganj upazila yesterday.

The deceased are Khairul Islam, and Salma Begum.

OC of Shibganj Police Station said Farid Hossain said Khairul died on the spot when a thunderbolt struck him, while Salma was killed when she was picking mango from an orchard.
