Newly elected UP member held with pistol in Natore
A newly elected member of a union parishad was detained with a pistol and five bullets in Naldanga upazila of Natore.
Police detained Nuruzzaman Suruj Mia from his house in Piprul union in the upazila around 8:00am, our Natore correspondent reports quoting Subir Dutta, officer-in-charge of Naldanga Police Station.
