Offer sunnah of Juma prayers at home: Islamic Foundation

Islamic Foundation in a statement asks all Muslims to offer sunnah prayers from their respective homes before going to the mosque to offer their two rakahs of faraz Jummah prayers in order to contain the spreading of coronavirus.

Islamic Foundation in a statement today asked all Muslims to offer sunnah of the Juma prayers at their respective homes before going to the mosque to offer their two rakah of farz, in order to contain the spread of coronavirus.

Anis Mahmud, additional secretary of Islamic Foundation, in a statement requested Muslims across the country to go to the mosque only to offer the farz (mandatory) two rakahs of Juma.

The foundation also urged returnees from aboard not to go to mosques considering the greater interest of the people.

It also urged unwell people to offer their prayers from home instead of going to mosques.

Yesterday, the government gave strict instructions to concerned authorities to ensure suspension of political, cultural and religious gatherings and pilgrimages.
