Rajshahi University authorities have decided to hold in-person final examinations of the year 2019 from June 20, and those of 2020 from July 4, said RU acting Vice-chancellor Prof Anand Kumar Saha today.

He said the exams will be held while maintaining Covid-19 health safety guidelines.

The decision was taken at a virtual meeting this morning with RU acting VC Anand Saha in the chair, while deans, department chairpersons and directors of different institutes were present, reports our Rajshahi University correspondent.

In the meeting, it was decided not to reopen the residential halls.

"The department authorities can schedule the exam routine as per their student priorities after holding the academic committee meeting. If the syllabus needs to be shortened, the academic committee of the concerned department can also decide on that," said the acting VC.

However, the departments can take exams of one academic session at a time, acting VC Saha added.
