TIB hails JS talk on ‘Parliament Watch’

Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) today considered the Jatiya Sangsad's discussion on its report 'Parliament Watch' as positive and recognition of its works.

"The lawmakers of the parliament yesterday paid heed to our report and held a debate in the house. It is a positive sign and recognition of our activities," TIB Executive Director Iftekharuzzaman said in a press statement floated for the media.

"We will also extend our all-out cooperation if the parliament initiates any steps on our findings," he added in the statement adding hopes that steps would be taken to make parliament more functional.
