Two siblings drown

Two siblings drowned in a pond in Baghil area of Sadar upazila yesterday.

The deceased were identified as Abida, 12, daughter of Adam Mondol of Pashchim Akur Takur Para in the town, and her younger brother Rifat, 10.

Dainna Union Parishad (UP) Chairman Lavlu Miah said Adam and his two kids come to visit one of his relative's house in Baghil Bazar.

Local people saw their bodies floating in a pond adjacent to their relative's house yesterday noon and recovered their bodies.
