Two tea-garden workers killed under wall collapse in Habiganj

Two workers were killed when an under-construction wall collapsed on them at Deundi Tea Garden in Habiganj's Chunarughat this afternoon.

The deceased are Ajit Bakti (40) and Swapan Mal (35), reports our Moulvibazar correspondent.

Chunarughat Police Station Inspector (investigation) Champak Dham said the incident took place when Ajit and Swapan were repairing a boundary wall.

At one stage, a part of the wall collapsed leaving the two dead on the spot, he said.

The bodies were handed over to the families.
