Aurthohin founding member Rumi Rahman no more

Drummer Rumi Rahman spent the entire day of Eid with his family.  He took pictures, they had dinner together. The joyous day turned into a nightmare when after four o'clock in the morning, Rumi started feeling sick. The doctors, at 5:40 am said that he had already died.

The news been confirmed by his wife, Barsha Chowdhury.  He was only 45 years old, and was previously suffering from asthma.

The musician was involved with band music since the 90's playing with many legends. He played with bands like Aurthohin, The Trap, Ark, Dalchhut, Aranyak and Symphonium.

"He was also one of the founder members of the band and an integral part of our debut album Trimatrik. We are deeply shocked to hear the news. Please pray for the departed soul", wrote Aurthohin on their official page.

Rumi had married singer Barsha Chowdhury in 2020. He was previouosly married to Tazeen Ahmed.
