A nine-time Grammy winner, this marks Rihanna’s first Oscar nomination for ‘Best Original Song’. Other nominees in the category include Lady Gaga’s “Hold My Hand” from Top Gun: Maverick and “Naatu Naatu” from “RRR”.

After a long hiatus, Caribbean singer Rihanna has finally returned to the music industry. She marked her return by performing at this year's Super Bowl, which created quite the media frenzy—both for her performance and the announcement of her pregnancy.

Now, the "Work" singer is set to take to the stage once again, at the film industry's biggest event of the year, the Oscars 2023. Rihanna will be performing her Oscar-nominated song "Lift Me Up" from the film "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever".
