American actress Bethenny Frankel raises $25M for Ukraine relief

"Real Housewives of New York City" famed American actress Bethenny Frankel has raised a donation worth $25 million for the refugee relocation programme for Ukraine.

Frankel is also the proprietor of BStrong, an organisation which provides assistance to people in crisis. She tweeted, "BSTRONG UPDATE: we have committed 15m in aid & have raised over TEN MILLION DOLLARS in $ donations for the refugee relocation program. This is MAJOR."

In partnership with Global Empowerment Mission, BStrong has been helping Ukrainian citizens move to a safe place after Russia first invaded Ukraine on February 24.

As the crisis escalated, the team set up a base camp in Medyka, Poland, near the Ukraine border.
