The fact that I will never hold him again breaks my heart: Iresh Zaker

Maestro Aly Zaker's son Iresh Zaker is a renowned television actor. The father-son duo has also shared screens in quite a number of projects together. They also share the same birthday. In a conversation with The Daily Star, Iresh narrates his feelings towards his father.

As a son, I always miss him, every single day. I live with the values that Baba gave me.

One of the major facts about him was that he would never compromise with the principles and ethics that he believed in. That is what made him Aly Zaker.

The strength of Baba's principles and ethics guides me like a lighthouse.

Baba always wanted me to become an actor. With the growing number of television projects, he would always show his concerns whether these projects would be able to keep their standards. He expected me to work more in films and stage.

I have shared the screen with him in ten television projects. We had great bonding on screen as well. He believed if co artiste were perfect, then the outcome would be great. He was very careful about being perfect on screen.

Although I like all of his works, however, "Bohubrihi" is among my favourites.

What breaks my heart is, I would never be able to hold him and wish him a happy birthday.
