While the film industry lacks theatrical releases owing to the coronavirus pandemic, Chorki, a new online streaming platform, is set to entertain the audience with a number of new releases, including Adnan Al Rajeev's web film "Youtumor".  The official poster of this film was released on Chorki's official Facebook page yesterday and its official release date was announced. It will stream on the first day of Eid.

The poster of the film, featuring lead actors Pritom Hasan and Ziaul Hoque Polash, was also shared by Adnan Al Rajeev and other crew members, online. The film also stars Gousul Alam Shaon, Sharaf Ahmed Jeevan, Kareena Kaiser, and Salman Muktadir, among many others.

"I wanted to explore a new genre and had the story of Youtumor in mind for a while now. I wanted to make a real dramatic satire, paced with impeccable comic inputs and humour," shares Adnan Al Rajeev about his debut web project. "This film is dedicated to the influencers who are doing great and to the Youtumors who need to learn to be great. As they say, with great power, comes greater responsibility."

Filmmaker Redoan Rony, the chief operating officer of Chorki, had announced that this platform will start its journey with 12 original productions upon launching its services this Eid ul Azha. As a part of this initiative, "Youtumor" will be the inaugural production of Chorki.  "Working with Chorki was been amazing in a sense that they allowed me a lot of freedom in terms of executing the film in my own way. I hope the audience enjoys this film as much as I did while making it," adds Adnan.

"Youtumor" can be streamed on Chorki's website and app with two subscription packages – biyearly (6 months) and yearly (12 months). The subscribers will not only have access to "Youtumor" but all the other existing and upcoming releases on Chorki. The audience can also just simple choose to buy a ticket on the platform if they want to watch only "Youtumor".
