A press release issued by WWE earlier today mentioned that McMahon’s daughter, Stephanie McMahon, will be taking on the role of interim CEO and Chairman of the Board in his absence. Vince McMahon will still be in charge of WWE creative.
Vincent Kennedy McMahon, better known to many as Vince McMahon, has stepped down from the role of CEO. This is after he rumours emerged of McMahon paying "hush money" to cover up an affair with a former WWE employee.

"I have pledged my complete cooperation to the investigation by the special committee, and I will do everything possible to support the investigation," said McMahon in the statement. "I have also pledged to accept the findings and outcome of the investigation, whatever they are."
