The opening ceremony of the programme was attended by BSA secretary Mohammad Asaduzzaman, Fine Arts Department Director Syeda Mahbuba Karim, and the curator of the exhibition, Avijit Chowdhury.

The grotesque attack, that targeted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, claimed the lives of many innocents, including Bangladesh Awami League's Women's Affairs Secretary Ivy Rahman. It is said to have changed Bangladeshi politics forever.
