Elocutionist Hasan Arif on life support

Eminent elocutionist and General Secretary of Sammilito Sangskritike Jote, Hasan Arif, is on life support at Bangladesh Specialized Hospital, Dhaka. 

The news was confirmed to The Daily Star by noted cultural personality, Nasiruddin Yousuff. 

Hasan Arif's condition is now critical. He was put on life support, after complications were detected in his oxygen levels. 

The elocutionist, who has been unwell for a while, tested positive for Covid-19 earlier.
