Padatik celebrates 44th anniversary, to award two cultural personalities

Celebrating their 45th founding anniversary, Padatik Natya Shanshad is one of the most celebrated theatre troupes to associate with Bangladesh Group Theatre Federation and Sammilita Sangskritik Jote.

Celebrating their 44th founding anniversary, Padatik Natya Shanshad is one of the most celebrated theatre troupes to associate with the Bangladesh Group Theatre Federation and Sammilita Sangskritik Jote.

The troupe will host the awarding ceremony of "Kochi Smriti Shammanona 2022", today. Their much-appreciated play "Prerona', based on the theme of autism, will also be staged at the event.

Ekushey Padak award-winning writer, publisher, and freedom fighter Mofidul Hoque and Ekushey Padak award-winning thespian and television personality Lucky Enam are the recipients for this year's "Kochi Smriti Shammanona".

Aiming to raise awareness and promote inclusivity, "Prerona" looks to advocate the acceptance of autistic children and inspires society to accept them as one of their own.

The production, written and directed by Sabil Reza Chowdhury, casts Samia Choudhury, Sadia Maknun, Mamun Abdullah, Doli Akhter, Iqbal Noor, Talukder Maniruzzaman Milton, and Kamal Hossain, among others.
