Submit your play to ‘Aly Zaker Shorone Notuner Utshab 2022’

Celebrating an illustrious journey of 49 years, Nagorik Natya Sampradaya is hosting the second instalment of their "Notuner Utshab". The festival had commenced in 2019, showcasing 5 news plays from rising theatre troupes around the country.

From this year onwards, the initiative is set to commemorate the legacy of the legendary actor and one of the founding pillars of Nagorik Natya Sampradaya, Aly Zaker.

Aided by Mangaldweep Foundation, "Aly Zaker Shorone Notuner Utshab 2022" will showcase 5 new plays by 5 different theatre troupes.

The organisers have opened the process of submission from all theatre troupes across the nation. The groups have to turn in a copy of their production proposal and a summary of their proposed play by March 31, 2022, to the following address: Asiatic Centre, House# 63, Road # 7/b, Block- H, Banani, Dhaka- 1213, or email it to nagoriknatya.50@gmail.com.
