Two documentaries based on Sahid Rahman’s ‘Mohamanober Deshe’ premiere at BSA
The programme titled, 'Bangabandhu Shongrami Rajnitir Kobi' was held at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA), on January 8, featuring three documentaries based on Sahid Rahman's "Mohamanober Deshe".
"Ami Mayer Kachhe jabo" is directed by Antar Rahman and Mohammad Farid Uddin, while the screenplay was handled by Aurangojeb. It features National Film Award winner Fazlur Rahman Babu, along with Tarin Jahan, and Saberi Alam among others.
Another documentary, "Ekjon Kafiluddin", featuring Gazi Rakayet, Ahmed Rubel, and Rokeya Prachi among others is directed by Sumon Dhar. The screenplay is jointly written by Sumon Dhar and Biddhut Ray.
A discussion was also held at the event. Mahbubul Alam Hanif, MP, and Joint General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League graced the event as chief guest.
The programme was organised by Pochattorer Protirodh Joddha Smriti Shongshod.

The programme was presided by Journalist Mazumder Jewel, while the president of the event was noted author Selina Hossain.
