Elephant found dead in Ctg

Forest officials today recovered a female elephant's body from Banshkhali upazila of Chattogram.

"The elephant was around 25 years old, it was electrocuted and buried by miscreants," Md Shafikul Islam, divisional forest officer of Chattogram South Forest Division told The Daily Star.

An autopsy is being performed on the animal, he said.
