Odisha on yellow alert as Cyclone Fani turns ‘extremely severe’
Cyclone Fani which has intensified into an ‘extremely severe’ cyclonic storm is to cross the Odisha coast between Gopalpur and Chandbali with a maximum sustained wind of speed 175-185 kmph gusting to 205 kmph. The Met department issues a “yellow warning” for the Odisha coast predicting heavy to very heavy rain in several areas.
