1 dengue patient dead, 60 hospitalised in 24 hours

One dengue patient died while 60 were admitted to different hospitals across the country in the last 24 hours till 8am today (July 25, 2022), according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The death of the dengue patient was reported in Cox's Bazar. So far seven people died from dengue across the country, including four in Cox's Bazar.

Of the 60 new cases, 40 were reported from within Dhaka and 20 from outside. With these, the total number of dengue patients rose to 2,206 across the country this year, DGHS said.

Among the patients, 276 are still undergoing treatment, including 64 from outside Dhaka.

A total of 1,923 patients have been released from hospitals.
