2 dengue patients hospitalised in 24 hours

Two dengue patients were hospitalised in 24 hours till 8 am today, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

With the new cases this year, a total of 64 people were diagnosed with dengue during the current month. Both patients are residents of Dhaka.

A total of 48 dengue patients, many of whom were admitted last month, are still undergoing treatment at hospitals in Dhaka, and 28 outside Dhaka.

According to the DGHS, around 28,429 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country in 2021. The death toll stood at 105 last year.
