2 die of dengue, 353 hospitalised

At least two dengue patients died while 353 patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country in the last 24 hours till 8am today (September 13, 2022).

With the new deaths, the death toll rose to 39.

Among the death cases, 17 are at Cox's Bazar, four are at Barishal and one at Chattogram while 17 are in Dhaka, according to the Directorate General of Health Services.

With 353 new patients, the total number of dengue cases this year rose to 9,448.

A total of 1,213 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment of which, 318 from outside Dhaka.

A total of 8,196 patients have been released from hospitals so far.
