2 more die of dengue

Two dengue patients died while 509 others were hospitalised in the last 24 hours till this morning.

With the new deaths, the death toll rose to 52 this year, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

With the new cases, the total number of dengue this year rose to 8,757, of which 2,276 were from outside Dhaka.

Some 1,388 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment.

A total of 7,317 dengue patients were released from hospitals.

The total number of dengue deaths was 281 last year while the total number of cases was 62,382.
