3 die of dengue fever, 246 hospitalised in 24hrs

At least three dengue patients died while 246 others were hospitalised in 24 hours till this morning.

With the new deaths, a total of 263 persons died from dengue fever this year while the total number of cases rose to 59,695 of whom 21,900 are from outside Dhaka, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

A total of 58,220 patients have been released following treatment, of whom 21,277 are from outside the capital.

Some 1,212 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment, of whom, 522 are from outside Dhaka.
