5 die of dengue in 24 hours

At least five dengue patients died, while 636 others were hospitalised in the last 24 hours till this morning.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), among the deaths two are from Barishal division and Dhaka North City Corporation and one in Dhaka South City Corporation.

With the new deaths and cases, the total number of deaths rose to 155, while the total number of cases rose to 38,527.

Among the total cases, a total of 36,528 dengue patients have been released so far.

Currently, 1,844 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country, 1098 of which are from outside Dhaka.
